In 1999 after 18 years in the investment business for corporate America where he was fortunate enough to eat in some of the best restaurants in Atlanta, New York, and Charlotte, Greg Cross decided it was time to make a change in his life. He grew up in South Georgia eating southern comfort food and later developed his skills as a chef cooking for family and friends. Preparing and enjoying food with others has always been an enormously fulfilling part of his life.
Once he decided that a personal chef career was right for him, Chef Greg fine-tuned his skills by working in the kitchen of a prominent Charlotte, NC country club and also by attending culinary classes. In the summer of 2000, he and his family came back to Atlanta to be closer to family and friends, and share his Passion for Food with his personal chef clientele. Chef Greg is a Certified Personal Chef with the United States Personal Chef Association.
